Robert P. Schumaker is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Tyler. He will be attending the National Information Technology Day to talk about data science and what it really means to be a data scientist and what roles, knowledge or skills are expected to become one.
The talk answers these questions and dives into the details of data science, from jobs, salary and requisite knowledge needed to become successful as well as provide resources for those interested in starting a career in this field.
