We dare to claim the sky!

If ever we feel our hearts throbbing heavily

That life floats with soaring wings

Bristling with nonsensical cravings

For so many untold sweet dreams

Seldom, seldom seen 

Just like a bird frightened in its narrow cage

Tied wings and hanged feet

Eyes lowered and head bowed

In the midst of tears

Comes hope, singing a soothing rhyme

Leaping like a singing bird

Springing out with the certainty of tides 

softening our weary souls

Wrapping our weakened bones 

With transcendent everlasting gleam

We rise

Fearless in spite of all our fears

gazing up at the dark sky 

Spangled with the thickest stars 

With no longer dimming eyes

We dare to claim the sky !

We stand still

Eternal sunshine comes peeping in 

How still! How happy!

To feel it within us
