Some use YouTube videos to procrastinate, myself included. Although I believe that the content it provides is very rich in knowledge and can help build a whole personality and useful skills. Therefore, some of the most interesting YouTube channel are going to be shared with you each week on INSAT Press !
Today we are going to tackle psychology. I’m assuming here that most of us are not following a path in that field. And I believe it is very useful not only for our human interactions, but also to learn how to understand ourselves.
- Personnality disorders: which are subcategorized into clusters A, B and C.
- PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder).
- Anxiety disorders: which has many type explained in this video. It implies generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder and phobias.
- Mood disorders: which implies chronic depression, bipolar disorder, and cyclothymic disorder.
- many other types that are perfectly explained in this article.
The reason why I wanted to talk about the types of mental ilnesses is because I believe it is important to have empathy, to understand what other people may be going through and not judge them for what their mental disorders make them do.
That’s why I’d recommend the channel Kati Morton; a therapist who explains mental illnesses, answers questions, and encourages people to seek help when they need to.
Another channel that I highly recommend is psych2go. This is a group of people that share videos to categorize and help understand human traits and experiences. They also give very advices useful to our day-to-day life.
The reason why I started this serie with psychology is that I find it helpful if you want to learn how to be more empathic, learn to read people, and understand one self. I know you all want to learn to read people. I admit, it is very useful, yet very sneaky.
