Nope this is not a poem, it’s just what her heart kept saying on that night he left. She kept talking to herself, ignoring those tears and sobs, until she fell asleep, that was her only way to escape her broken heart that ached endlessly. With every single heartbeat.. It kept saying..

Precious treasure gone in a blunt

Isolation years
and more to go
Avoiding those incarnations

Husky eyes full of lust
Never meant a thing
Compared to that heart beat I felt
While I was touching your chest

Been hiding your inner demon
Caged firmly just for a season
Once released
The storm has never ceased

Despair it was indeed
